It's a space-age habitat for ants! This unique, self-contained environment for ants allows you to watch ants create 3D tunnels in blue gel. The ants are easy to care for - they need no food or water because the AntWorks gel is complete with nutrients to promote healthy growth in the new colony. Watch ants live, work, and tunnel in the nutritious and non-toxic gel as they create series upon series of intricate tunnels. AntWorks is based upon a 2003 NASA Space Shuttle experiment to study animal life in space and test how ants successfully tunnel in microgravity. This ant habitat science kit provides hours of fun and educational excitement as you watch your AntWorks architecture evolve. Comes with AntWorks Container, Nutrient Gel, Magnifying Glass, Ant Catching / Tunnel Starter Tool, Instructions and Interesting Facts About Ants. Ants are not included.
