Our handcrank flashlight with radio never needs batteries. Simply turn the crank for 1 minute and get 70 minutes of power*. Five bright LEDs last up to 100,000 hours and never need replacement. AM/FM radio with telescoping antenna ensures the best possible reception. And a built-in emergency siren with flashing light is sure to attract attention in a hurry. The science inside our flashlight How do we turn your hand power into light and sound? The answer is not as complicated as you might think. The principle is called magnetic induction. When you crank the ReadyLight, you are agitating a magnet that is surrounded by a copper coil, which produces the voltage to power the five super-bright LEDs and the radio inside your ReadyLight. Two lighting options Press button once to illuminate all five LEDs, and press again to illuminate a single LED. Charges your cell phone, too ReadyLight charges Nokia cell phones with the included adapter. Adapter kit (sold separately) includes adapters for Samsung 600 Series, Samsung A288 Series, Motorola 328 Series, and Motorola V Series.
