THE LITTLE SHOP OF PHYSICS Product Description

The Little Shop of Physics is a hands on science program by Colorado State University. Little Shop of Physics provides kits of instructional materials which allow open-ended exploration of science concepts in a way that is engaging, exciting and effective. Each kit will support up to five groups of students. There are several "demos" in each kit that are intended to be done either by the whole class or by the teacher for demonstrational purposes. Each kit contains a DVD and detailed lesson guide. Some experiments have enough equipment for one station, but most have enough for three, five or more, so that your whole class can be involved. Matches national science standards in a way that compliments standard classroom experiments. Each kit contains over a dozen experiments and includes a Teacher's Guide. A group of three students becomes the battery that runs a clock, while other students light a neon lamp just by scuffing their feet! Learn the basic concepts of electricity through engaging experiments.
