Information on water power.

Water Power

water power

It is estimated that if the water power of the United States were fully used, it would be sufficient to run all the machines of our factories, to propel all railroad trains, street cars, and automobiles, and to furnish light and heat for the many purposes for which they are used. At present only a small part of this power is being used, but the possibilities for the future are great. The questions that arise in our minds naturally are: What is the source of the energy or power of water power and where and how can water power be best developed. Another problem somewhat associated in our minds with water power is the advantage gained by the use of hydraulic pressure.
